Glia Voices: Looking Ahead at 2023

It’s that time once again, where we all find ourselves with a fresh 12 months ahead of us and a year’s worth of memories to reflect upon. 2022 was a big year for Glia, from big acquisitions to big growth and everything in between, but none of this could be possible without all the amazing people that really make Glia what it is. We wanted to take a moment to highlight just a few of them, and to hear their hopes, aspirations, and what they’re looking forward to in the new year.

Jacqueline Anglin, Enterprise Account Executive:

“This past year was illuminating and interesting – I had the opportunity to meet many of my credit union and banking partners while learning the impact of DCS on organizations, members and employees. I want to continue meeting and creating DCS champions, show the art of the possible with Glia, and demonstrate the value we can bring to all facets of an organization. I also want to invest in my personal interests: Although a “techie” by day, you can find me knitting, up-cycling old clothes with my sewing machine or creating art out of thrifted items on my time off. I will continue to make my small impacts to support our environment and educate myself on additional ways I can be more sustainable in my everyday life. I aim to read an “educational” book (mindfulness, philosophy, finances, sustainability) for every “fun” book I read (mainly James Patterson), and finally I will continue to build precious memories with my family, including my young nephew. This year we are aiming to go to Italy, and will continue trips to Portland, Maine, Vermont and more.”

Erin Toth, Sales Engineer:

“2022 was a bit of a rollercoaster personally, professionally, and societally, I think! In 2023 I’m looking forward to learning and growth with more intention and with some added grace for any stumbles or roadblocks along the way. I’m aspiring to move my body more every day and get back to a place where I do it because it makes me feel strong, and to broaden my horizons by reading books from authors from a diverse array of countries around the world, and in genres outside my “comfort” zone. My hopes are that as a world we come together with empathy to support the most vulnerable members of our own communities, and specifically that we see peace for Ukraine and fundamental human rights extended for the women & girls of Iran.”

Ryan Baillargeon, Product Marketing Content Manager (Insurance):

“From a professional standpoint, I’m excited to embark on my first full year with Glia after joining in June 2022. There’s a massive need in the insurance space for what Glia provides and I’m looking forward to continuing to educate insurers on how Glia can help them transform how they support their policyholders and agents. My goal is to help Glia continue to expand its presence within the insurance segment in 2023. I also hope to assist our customers share their success stories with Glia to further promote their positive results while simultaneously educating other financial institutions on how Glia can help them achieve their objectives. On a personal note, 2023 will be quite the year for me. I got engaged this past April and will marry my fiancée in August of this year!”

Eden Bohanon, Enterprise Account Executive:

“Professionally, I’d like to increase the awareness of Glia’s call center solution to our prospects and customers as many of their on-premise systems prepare to sunset in 2024. I’d like to exceed my targets in adding value to financial services’ customer service strategies, and also keep on top of industry trends to further my brand as a thought leader. On a more personal level, my biggest goal is to get a story that I’ve been working on for a while now published. I’m also looking to run a triathlon, and would love to get a chance to explore another country this year (particularly Italy!).”
