And Start Thinking About Who You’ll Get to Meet
We know from discussions with many of our clients and partners that there are a fair number of people who are interested in joining us for our annual industry conference, Interact 2024 (in San Antonio, October 27-30), but who haven’t quite committed yet.
We get it: Budgets have to get approved, travel arrangements have to be confirmed, home schedules need to be coordinated, and cowboy hats need to be dusted off. Going to a conference is a whole thing, hardly an effortless experience.
But as you weigh the pros and cons, here’s something to consider–it’s not just what a conference is about, or who the sponsor is–it’s about the people you’ll be spending a few days with. And based on the reaction from our first-ever live event last year in Scottsdale, the people you’ll meet are special for 3 reasons:
1. They have extremely similar responsibilities
As you probably know, Glia only serves financial services companies. Unlike conferences where all industries are represented (which can be interesting), you’ll never find yourself at a cocktail hour standing next to someone who works for an oil refinery or a chain of bowling alleys at Interact. You will always find someone who does something very similar to what you do.
2. They’re like-minded leaders
People who come to a “customer interaction conference” tend to be interested in, and excited about, the latest technology and newest concepts in this field. You’ll see all of that and more on full display. Now that we’re all experiencing “The Inevitable Wave of AI” in real-time, there’s even more reason to want to compare notes and see what other companies are doing.
3. They’re on the same journey as you
In our work with over 500 financial institutions, we’re not aware of any that are saying, “When it comes to interacting with our customers, we’ve got everything totally nailed!” We are ALL working to evolve and respond to the massive changes in the customer environment. But at Interact 2024, every organization there is in the same boat. It’s energizing to be in an environment where everyone you’ll meet has come to learn and share with each other.
Noteworthy Industry Sessions
In addition to meeting your peers (and making a few new friends!), you’ll also hear from a wide variety of companies that are moving toward Unified Interaction Management, sharing their results and lessons learned.
You’ll get to participate in Glia workshops featuring our new Unified Interactions Index, as well as the Interaction Playbook.
You’ll also get to meet financial services industry leaders like Mary Wisniewski of Cornerstone Advisors, Jason Henrichs of Alloy Labs, James Robert Lay of Digital Growth Institute, and Samantha Paxon of WealthNext. Plus, you will have a chance to interact with a whole team of Glia experts who will be excited to show off all the latest new tools and offerings in live, hands-on demonstrations in the Glia Village. And you will be intrigued by our special keynote speaker–he hasn’t been officially announced, but you can be certain that many myths about customer interactions will be busted.
It’s going to be an amazing event that you won’t want to miss!
